Joan Cordas is a graduate of the College of New Jersey, with a Bachelors in Music. Joan Cordas co-managed the family music store while performing and teaching music. Joan is an accomplished violinist who teaches privately to aspiring professional violinists. She played 1st Violin with the Capital Philharmonic (Formerly the Greater Trenton Symphony Orchestra) for over 60 years from the age of 16, as well as being Concertmaster of Boheme Opera of New Jersey for 30 years.  She played with various operas and string quartets and solo violin performances throughout the years. Joan has performed with various musical greats including Marvin Hamlish, Liberace, Linda Ronstadt, Jackie Evanko, Teddy Pendergrass, Smokey Robinson, Frank Paterson, John Lithgow, Kansas, Linda Eder, Cab Callaway, Johnny Mathis, and Ella Fitzgerald.
